mcfly-dalby-forest-june-2009McFLY have had nothing but success since their first single 5 Colours in Her Hair was released back in 2004.

Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd have topped the charts seven times and have even formed their own record label - all before the age of 25.

McFly have toured all over the world and performed in many large arenas such as Wembley as well as a string of smaller venues in their aptly named Up Close And Personal Tour. But this time McFly chose a more unusual setting - Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire.

Even the foggy weather couldn’t dishearten the excited McFly fans as they formed a vast crowd in front of the stage in Dalby Forest, awaiting the pop foursome’s arrival.

As soon as they started to play their first song One For The Radio it was obvious that it was going to be a great show. The atmosphere in the forest was electric, and it really provided the perfect setting for the concert.

McFly were on top form as usual. Demonstrating their brilliant ability to play live, they clearly showed that they love what they are doing.

They performed well known hits such as Obviously and Star Girl, as well as many tracks from their new album Radio:ACTIVE.

Performing popular songs from all four albums, McFly had the crowd buzzing with everyone happily mouthing the words along with the group - from young children to adults - showing that McFly’s catchy songs and charismatic stage presence appeal to a large range of different people.

Their talent and, indeed, their likeability make them not only a must-see band for McFly lovers, but also for music lovers because they really do put on an electrifying show.
